Academy Street Bistro: A Culinary Gem in Cary, NC

One of our favorite date night spots! Excellent brussel sprouts and love their seasonal pastas. Very fresh well-prepared food and nice drink specials (half off bottles of wine, half off martinis).

A nice restaurant in a very vibrant Downtown Cary! There is good seating, both high top and low top, including outside as well. Windows have a nice view of the street outside. Food was also great! Servers and hostesses were all super kind, and very informative on the menu. The menu isn’t all too extensive, but is fairly priced. Overall, loved the atmosphere, and will be coming back!

New Englad Clam chowder and seafood bisque are to die for. This time I had a crabcake sandwich. It was good. They also put a candle in the cake foe mom for her birthday. No cake was not free.

The atmosphere was inviting. What truly impressed us was Brooke, our server, who not only provided exceptional service but also crafted fantastic cocktails. She is awesome . The crab cake sandwiches were absolutely delicious, showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients. We'll definitely be back!

Went to Academy Street Bistro today for the first time. Arrived early for dinner, a wonderful table for one. Abby was my waitress. I had a wonderful birthday meal! Great atmosphere. Abby was amazing! Crab cakes and the bone in pork chop were very unique and fabulous! Special thanks to Abby for a very relaxing and special visit!

Wow! Our dinner experience last night was amazing! Out waiter, Ben, was fantastic, knew exactly what to recommend and made our 9-year-old feel like MVP. The food exceeded our expectations, and felt like a NYC experience, did not feel like I was in Cary. Loved the creative flavors! I had the beet & arugula salad with added shrimp, and my husband had a steak. For appetizers we ordered Brussel sprouts and calamari. We all LOVED our food! Topped it off with a couple of desserts - creme brulee and bread pudding with ice cream. Can’t wait to go back!

Love this place! Brandon was our server and he was knowledgeable and accommodating. He had GREAT recommendations, although it’s hard to go wrong. The atmosphere is perfect for lunch or a nice relaxing dinner on the patio.

My wife's family was visiting from Europe for the Christmas Holidays. It was busy but the staff were able to accommodate us. The tuna appetizer and brie were excellent. My steak was cooked perfectly and my Hungarian in-laws loved the pork chops! I was very impressed with the timing and how friendly everyone was. Our server, Warren was even able to describe every menu in fluent, perfect French and Hungarian to my European extended family! Really great experience all around!
